Exploring attitudinal barriers to participation in inpatient fall risk assessment using the Theoretical Domains Framework: A survey of providers.

Background And Aims: Lack of provider (physicians and advanced practice providers) participation in fall risk assessment was theorized to be contributing to rising rates of falls with injury at our institution. This project sought to identify if attitudinal barriers to inpatient provider participation in fall risk assessment were similar to those identified in other clinical settings.

Methods: Barriers to provider participation in fall risk assessment were identified in the literature.

Data Cleaning in the Evaluation of a Multi-Site Intervention Project.

Context: The High Value Healthcare Collaborative (HVHC) sepsis project was a two-year multi-site project where Member health care delivery systems worked on improving sepsis care using a dissemination & implementation framework designed by HVHC. As part of the project evaluation, participating Members provided 5 data submissions over the project period. Members created data files using a uniform specification, but the data sources and methods used to create the data sets differed.

Osteoarthritis of the knee: comparison of MR imaging findings with radiographic severity measurements and pain in middle-aged women.

Purpose: To prospectively compare magnetic resonance (MR) imaging-defined abnormalities of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee with radiographic severity measurements of OA of the knee and self-reported pain.

Materials And Methods: This study was approved by the institutional review board of University of Michigan. Informed consent was obtained for this HIPAA-compliant study.
