A cross-sectional study to detect the prevalence of hyperhomocysteinemia in cases of deep vein thrombosis.

Hyperhomocysteinemia is a known risk factor for the development of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Various studies have been conducted in the western countries to know the prevalence of hyperhomocysteinemia in patients with DVT and in general population. There is no documented literature of the prevalence of hyperhomocysteinemia in Indian population.
