Fibroblast Growth Factor-23 in Pre-Dialysis Chronic Kidney Disease Patients and its Correlation with Carotid Artery Calcification.

Introduction: Fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23) is a phosphate metabolism regulator in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The present study is aimed to examine the FGF-23 level in pre-dialysis patients with CKD and its correlation with carotid artery calcification (CAAC).

Methods: This cross-sectional study included patients with CKD and controls.
