Rare-earth element-free fluorescent materials are eco-friendlier than other traditional fluorescent precursors, such as quantum dots and phosphors. In this study, we explore a simple and facile solution-based technique to prepare fluorescent films, which are highly stable under ordinary room conditions and show hydrophobic behaviour. The proposed hybrid material was designed with hybrid composites that use polyvinyl butyral (PVB) as a host doped with organic dyes.

Review on Fluorescent Carbon/Graphene Quantum Dots: Promising Material for Energy Storage and Next-Generation Light-Emitting Diodes.

Carbon/graphene quantum dots are 0D fluorescent carbon materials with sizes ranging from 2 nm to around 50 nm, with some attractive properties and diverse applications. Different synthesis routes, bandgap variation, higher stability, low toxicity with tunable emission, and the variation of physical and chemical properties with change in size have drawn immense attention to its potential application in different optoelectronics-based materials, especially advanced light-emitting diodes and energy storage devices. WLEDs are a strong candidate for the future of solid-state lighting due to their higher luminance and luminous efficiency.

Halide perovskite based solar cells (PSC's) have shown tremendous potential based on its facile fabrication technique, and the low cost of perovskite thin film formation with efficiency passing through an unmatched growth in recent years. High quality film along with morphology and crystallinity of the perovskite layer influences the efficiency and other properties of the perovskite solar cell (PSC). Furthermore, semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST-PSC) are an area of attraction due to its application in tandem solar cells, although various factors like suitable transparent rear electrodes and optimized technique limit the power conversion efficiency (PCE).

Subjective Visual Vertical and Horizontal in Vestibular Migraine.

Objective: To assess the functional status of the otolithic pathway in vestibular migraine by comparing the results of static and dynamic subjective visual vertical and horizontal [subjective visual vertical (SVV) and subjective visual horizontal (SVH)] testing in patients with vestibular migraine with that of normal individuals.

Materials And Methods: This hospital-based prospective study was conducted in 82 normal adults and 66 adults with vestibular migraine. The SVV and SVH angles were measured under static and dynamic conditions using a software-based test protocol.

Solitary Fibrous Tumor of Nasal Cavity: A Case Report.

Introduction: Solitary fibrous tumours (SFTs) of the nose and paranasal sinuses are extremely rare. These were originally described as neoplasms of the pleura originating from spindle cells. It is further sub-classified as a benign type of mesothelial tumour.

Subjective visual vertical and horizontal abnormalities in a patient with lateral medullary syndrome-a case report.

Introduction: Evaluation of persistent vertigo in post infarct patients is very important as the management depends on whether the cause is purely of central origin or due to associated vestibular affliction.

Case Report: A patient with left sided dorsolateral medullary syndrome and persistent vestibular symptoms was evaluated. Vestibular test battery showed abnormal smooth pursuit, bilateral hyperactive caloric responses, and abnormal dynamic subjective visual vertical and dynamic subjective visual horizontal tests.

A rare case of bilateral nasolabial cysts in a postpartum lady.

Nasolabial cyst, also known as Klestadt's cyst is an uncommon nonodontogenic cyst. Bilateral nasolabial cysts are rarer and less than 10 cases have been reported in the literature. Diagnosis is usually clinical and they present as slow-growing swellings in the nasolabial region causing cosmetic deformity and nasal obstruction.
