Introduction: In space, under weightlessness conditions, human brain activity is changed due to the shifting of body fluid and blood toward the cephalic region. This shifting leads to changes in cerebral hemodynamics and, consequently, neurophysiological function, which impacts mental functions like cognition and decision-making capabilities of space travelers. The present study reports the effect of acute exposure to simulated microgravity on cognitive functions and event-related potentials.

We aimed to determine the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies and identify risk factors associated with SARS-CoV-2 antibody positivity in children.
Methods: Unvaccinated children aged 18 months to 11 years between August 2022 and June 2023 underwent oral fluid testing for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.

This study identifies the most relevant bands within a hyperspectral data cube for turbidity prediction in inland water. Nine machine learning regressors Cat Boost, Decision Trees, Extra Trees, Gradient Boost, Light Gradient Boost (LightGBM), Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE), Random Forest, Support Vector Regressor (SVR), and Xtreme Gradient Boost (XGBoost) have been used to compute the feature importance of the hyperspectral bands for predicting turbidity.

A total of 360 fresh wheat leaf samples were collected from a wheat breeding population over two growing seasons. These leaf samples were used to collect VSWIR reflectance observations across a spectral range spanning 350 to 2,500 nm.

Unlabelled: Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea (OSAHS) Syndrome is defined by repetitive episodes of apneas or hypopneas, excessive daytime somnolence; waking up during sleep with gasping, choking, or breath holding; or witnessed reports of apneas, loud snoring, or both. The current gold standard diagnostic test for OSAS is polysomnography. A total of 30 patients diagnosed with stroke and OSA at tertiary care hospital were included in this study.

Viruses enter the host cell, and various strategies are employed to evade the host immune system. These include overcoming the various components of the immune system, including modulation of the physical and chemical barriers, non-specific innate response and specific adaptive immune response. Morbilliviruses impose immune modulation by utilizing various approaches including hindering antigen presentation to T-Helper (T) cells, hematopoiesis and suppression of effector molecule activities.

The case of a 31-year-old female who presented with groin swelling and subsequent suprapubic pain for a duration of two years is described in this study. Utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a cystic lesion was detected within the canal of Nuck, raising suspicion of endometriosis.

Aim: Diabetes mellitus (DM), a metabolic disorder, exhibits a bidirectional relationship with periodontitis (PD), and recently, microRNAs (miRNAs) were associated with their progression. This review aims to assess the role of miRNAs in the pathogenesis of DM-associated PD and their plausible application as a biomarker for PD in individuals with DM.
Materials And Methods: The search conducted until September 2023 on Medline (Pubmed), Scopus, Embase, and Web of Science using the keywords "microRNA," "miRNA," or "miR," combined with "Diabetes" and "PD" yielded 100 articles.
Interoperability in computational chemistry is elusive, impeded by the independent development of software packages and idiosyncratic nature of their output files. The cclib library was introduced in 2006 as an attempt to improve this situation by providing a consistent interface to the results of various quantum chemistry programs. The shared API across programs enabled by cclib has allowed users to focus on results as opposed to output and to combine data from multiple programs or develop generic downstream tools.
