Injuries to the medial meniscus meniscocapsular junction, also known as ramp lesions, are common in the setting of anterior cruciate ligament injuries with a prevalence of 9% to 42%. Anatomically, ramp lesions involve disruption of the posterior meniscocapsular junction and meniscotibial ligaments. Biomechanically, ramp lesions are associated with an increase in anterior tibial translation and internal and external tibial rotation in anterior cruciate ligament-deficient cadaveric knees.

Case: We describe the case of a 33-year-old man who had a 1.5 × 2 cm chondral defect of the right glenoid that that was discovered on arthroscopy and was successfully treated with matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI). At 2 years postoperatively, the patient's Constant score and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) shoulder score improved by 44 and 51.

Since the description of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) by Ganz in 2003, our understanding of the pathophysiology, management options, and outcomes has evolved and literature continues to be generated on this condition at a rapid rate. FAI has been identified as a primary source of hip pain as well as a generator of secondary osteoarthritis. Improvements in the radiographic detection of cam and pincer morphologies as well as a better understanding of the structural impact of these morphologies have led to improved preoperative planning.

Objective: To determine the proximity of neurovascular structures to multiplanar distal interlocking screws and proximal interlocking devices for an antegrade inserted humeral nail.

Methods: Humeral nails (Depuy Synthes Humeral Nail-EX, Paoli, PA) were inserted into 10 matched cadavers with 3 distal interlocking trajectories: anterior to posterior (A-P), anterolateral to posteromedial, and anteromedial to posterolateral (AM-PL). The distance of the screw path and screw head to the radial, lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve (LACN), and median nerves and the brachial artery was measured.

Nocardia species are aerobic gram-positive filamentous organisms that may cause cutaneous or pulmonary disease in humans. Primary cutaneous nocardiosis may manifest as an acute superficial pyogenic infection that can mimic more common organisms such as Staphylococcus or Streptococcus. Acute pyogenic Nocardia infection of the pediatric hand is a rare manifestation of this condition.
