[Models of biological membranes containing gangliosides].

Molecular and supermolecular peculiarities in multicomponent liotropic systems ganglioside-water, ganglioside-cerebroside-water, ganglioside-lecithin-water, ganglioside-lecithin-troponin-tropomyosin-water were studied by polarizing microscopy and rentgenography. The results obtained by these two methods are in good agreement. Mesomorphism and phase changes depending on the concentrations of components and compounds of systems were established.
