[Experimental-clinical grounds for the treatment of granulating soft tissue wounds by the wound edge approximating stapler].

Factors of risk of the appearance of wound complications were studied in experiment on a model of granulating wounds in 18 mongrel dogs. A traditional method (control group) and an apparatus method (main group) were used for suturing the wounds. In the main group of animals suturing the wounds was performed after bringing together the wound edges by specially designed devices.

[New trends in surgical technologies of soft tissue wound management].

The authors performed an animal model study of postoperative wound complications using 72 white Wistar rats and 36 mongrel dogs with aseptic cut wounds, granulating wounds, and relaparotomic wounds. In the control group the wounds were closed by a conventional method; in the main group a machine stitch was performed. Wound closure in the main group was performed after approximation of wound edges with specially constructed devices.

The results of treatment of postoperative eventrations with new and improved adaptive-reposition apparatus are present. Influence of apparatus method of surgical wounds suturing on regeneration in sutured inflamed tissues of laparotomic wound was studied in experiment on 18 mongrel dogs. [Prophylaxis and treatment of eventration after relaparotomy].

A method of prophylaxis and treatment of eventrations after relaparotomy using apparatus of transtissue fixation was fested clinically. The apparatus was used in 24 patients with acute abdominal surgical disease subjected to relaparotomy. The apparatus of transtissue fixation permits to shorten time of operation, to make easier the work of surgeon and assistants, to minimize damage to sutured inflamed tissues.

[A preclinical study of ximedone].

Pharmacotoxicological properties of ximedone, a new pyrimidine derivative, were studied experimentally on animals of various species. In the enteral regimen the drug had a favourable effect on thermal burns and postoperative cutaneous and gastric wounds. The results enabled to recommend ximedone for the clinical practice.

[Adaptation-reposition technological means in combination with a bioactive preparation Ximedon for stimulation of wound healing].

The paper proposes a working classification of devices for intra- and extrafocal transtissue vulnosynthesis with the concurrent use of the agents that enhance reparative regeneration. Evaluating wound closure with wound adapters or routine suture has shown the advantages of the techniques by employing the proposed devices: the latter accelerates and facilitates suture application reparative, increases atraumaticity, asepticity, creates conditions for forming a precision suture. The positive results of experimental studies and clinical observations suggest that wound adapters have promises in practical application, transtissue device-aided vulnosynthesis in combination with topical pyrimidine derivatives, such as ximedon, shows great opportunities in soft tissue lesions.
