The article presents the results of examination of 304 patients with vertebral osteochondrosis and diskogenic pain who have been subjected to multiple-modality treatment (226 of them had various neurosurgical interventions) including acupuncture and drug therapy. Favourable therapeutic effect was achieved in 72% of the cases. Seventy patients were followed up.
