Objectives: To investigate the trajectories and determinants of muscle strength in ICU patients and their impact on 1-, 6-, and 12-month mortality outcomes.
Design: Prospective multicenter cohort study.
Settings: Ten ICUs across five tertiary hospitals in Fujian Province, China.

Objective: To assess whether oral stimulation (OS), nonnutritive sucking (NNS) and combined tactile/kinesthetic (T/K) interventions can improve the effects of oral feeding in preterm infants.
Methods: A retrospective review was performed from 2014 to 2016, in which one hundred thirty preterm infants were separated into two intervention groups (the OS + NNS group and the OS + NNS + T/K group) and one control group. Infants in the two intervention groups received 30 min of interventions a day.
The present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP) versus continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in preterm infants with birth weight less than 1500 g and respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) following intubation-surfactant-extubation (INSURE) treatment. A two-center randomized control trial was performed. The primary outcome was the reintubation rate of infants within 72 h of age after INSURE.

Calycosin (CAL) is an astragalus extract with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-tumor functions. This study aims to probe the role of CAL in alleviating sepsis-induced acute lung injury (ALI).

The inference of key pathway cross-talk consisted of four parts: i) Identifying differentially expressed genes (DEGs); ii) detecting differentially expressed pathways (DEPs); iii) computing discriminating score (DS) for each pair of DEPs or cross-talk and investigating seed cross-talk through the random forest (RF) algorithm and iv) extracting hub cross-talk dependent on the MCCV method. The results showed that a total of 132 DEGs and 137 DEPs were obtained across BPD patients and normal controls.

Objective: To set up the drug lymphocyte stimulation test (DLST), as a diagnosis means for DILI which was immunity idiosyncrasy, improve the Diagnosis, level of DILI.
Method: For the 59 patients who diagnosed as DILI, we separated their PBMC, exploring to the suspicious drug which caused DILI, then use the methods 3H-TdR to test, according to the mixed degree to clear the PBMC count which specific activated by drug.We also set up drug group, negative control and Positive control at the same time.
