In response to the high false positive rate of traditional Low-Dose Computed Tomography (LDCT) in diagnosing pulmonary malignant nodules, this study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of scoring of blood-based non-invasive biological metabolite detection combined with artificial intelligent scoring of non-invasive imaging in the clinical diagnosis of Pulmonary Nodules (PNs). In this retrospective study, risk scoring was performed in patients positive for pulmonary nodules and subsequently, PNs were sampled by invasive procedures for pathological examinations. The pathological classification was used as the gold standard, and statistical and machine learning methods showed, that in 210 patients (23 benign PN and 187 malignant PN), the risk score of Metabonomics, radiomics, and multi-omics had different levels of performance in different risk groups based on various predictive models.

Objective: To observe the efficacy of respiratory exercise in patients with tuberculous pleurisy (TBP).
Methods: A randomized controlled study was conducted including 146 patients diagnosed with TBP and undergoing pleural effusion drainage in Shandong Public Health Clinical Center from June 2020 to December 2022, and the patients were randomly divided into the control group and the respiratory exercise observation group. Pleural effusion drainage time, the difference of pulmonary function, and the degree of pleural hypertrophy between the two groups at 1 and 3 months after treatment were studied.
Our recent study has shown that TRIM36, a member of tripartite motif-containing (TRIM) family proteins and tumor suppressor and β-catenin may serve as a prognostic biomarker for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Here, we sought to examine functional roles of TRIM36 and β-catenin in ESCC cells. TRIM36 was overexpressed or silenced by lentivirus transduction.

The present study aims to evaluate the outcomes of surgical treatment for different types of CPA.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 85 patients with CPA who underwent surgery from 2014 to 2020 at Shandong Provincial Chest Hospital.
Aims: Tripartite motif protein 36 (TRIM36) plays a tumor-suppressive role in prostate cancer. However, there is little information on the clinical relevance of TRIM36 expression in esophageal cancer (ESCA).
Methods: TRIM36 expression was analyzed by using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) ESCA dataset as well as by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and immunohistochemical (IHC) staining on samples from our hospital.
