Objectives: Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) has displayed considerable advantages in consolidation therapy of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) after concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT). However, many patients are considered unsuitable for cCRT owing to concerns with tolerability. In this study, we aimed to assess the efficacy and toxicity of induction immunochemotherapy followed by radiotherapy for unresectable LA-NSCLC who are not capable of receiving cCRT.

Background: Ivonescimab is a bispecific antibody against programmed cell death protein 1 and vascular endothelial growth factor, yielding promising clinical outcomes for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer in early-phase studies. We compared the efficacy and safety of ivonescimab with pembrolizumab in patients with programmed cell death ligand-1 (PD-L1)-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Methods: HARMONi-2 is a randomised, double-blind, phase 3 trial across 55 hospitals in China.
Background: Lung cancer is a disease with a high incidence rate in Yunnan province, yet there is a paucity of large-scale studies on its clinical epidemiology. This research aims to investigate the epidemiological characteristics of patients who underwent lung cancer surgery at Yunnan Cancer Hospital over the past decade, thereby providing a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of lung cancer.
Methods: Clinical data were collected from 15,967 patients who underwent lung cancer surgery at Yunnan Cancer Hospital between 2013 and 2022.

Background: Our goal is to develop a nomogram model to predict overall survival (OS) for elderly esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients receiving definitive radiotherapy (RT) or concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT), aiding clinicians in personalized treatment planning with a risk stratification system.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 718 elderly ESCC patients treated with RT or CRT at 10 medical centers (3JECROG) from January 2004 to November 2016. We identified independent prognostic factors using univariate and multifactorial Cox regression to construct a nomogram model.
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a major subtype of lung cancer and poses a serious threat to human health. Due to the advances in lung cancer screening, more and more clinical T1 NSCLC defined as a tumor with a maximum diameter of 3cm surrounded by lung tissue or visceral pleura have been detected and have achieved favorable treatment outcomes, greatly improving the prognosis of NSCLC patients. However, the preoperative lymph node staging and intraoperative lymph node dissection patterns of operable clinical T1 NSCLC are still subject to much disagreement, as well as the heterogeneity between primary tumors and metastatic lymph nodes poses a challenge in designing effective treatment strategies.

Methods: The clinical data of patients with NSCLC and multiple BMs who received WBRT between 2019 and 2022 were collected. The patients were assigned to anlotinib plus WBRT group and WBRT group according to the treatment used.
Background: This study aimed to explore a novel and effective modified technique for the improvement in labia minora hypertrophy.
Methods: From January 2020 to December 2022, 25 patients with labia minora hypertrophy underwent surgical treatment using a modified mucosal advancement flap combined with a de-epithelialized mucosal flap for labia minora reduction. Postoperative follow-up ranged from 3 to 12 months.
carbon-coated CoS micro/nano-spheres were successfully prepared by sulfuric calcination using the solvothermal method with glycerol as the carbon source without introducing extraneous carbon. This method prevents carbon agglomeration and avoids the cumbersome steps of the current technology. The composite demonstrates excellent sodium storage capacity as an anode material for sodium-ion batteries.

Background: The vast majority of pancreatic cancers have been shown to be insensitive to single-agent immunotherapy. Exploring the mechanisms of immune resistance and implementing combination therapeutic strategies are crucial for PDAC patients to derive benefits from immunotherapy. Deletion of BAP1 occurs in approximately 27% of PDAC patients and is significantly correlated with poor prognosis, but the mechanism how BAP1-deletion compromises survival of patients with PDAC remain a puzzle.

Background: In ORIENT-15 study, sintilimab plus chemotherapy demonstrated significant improvement on overall survival (OS) versus placebo plus chemotherapy in first-line treatment of advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Here, we report effect of sintilimab plus chemotherapy on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in patients with advanced ESCC.
Methods: From December 14, 2018 to August 28, 2022, HRQoL was evaluated in all randomized patients using European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 30 items (QLQ-C30), EORTC Quality of Life Questionnaire Oesophageal Cancer Module 18 items (QLQ-OES18), and visual analogue scale (VAS) of the EuroQol five-dimensional five-level questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L).
Surface chemistry and bulk structure jointly play crucial roles in achieving high-performance supercapacitors. Here, the synergistic effect of surface chemistry properties (vacancy and phosphorization) and structure-derived properties (hollow hydrangea-like structure) on energy storage is explored by the surface treatment and architecture design of the nanostructures. The theoretical calculations and experiments prove that surface chemistry modulation is capable of improving electronic conductivity and electrolyte wettability.

This study aims to construct a tumor mutation-related model that combines long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expression levels and tumor mutation levels in tumor genomes to detect the possibilities of the lncRNA signature as an indicator for predicting the prognosis and response to immunotherapy in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD).
Methods: We downloaded the tumor mutation profiles and RNA-seq expression database of LUAD from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA).
Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer with limited treatment options, especially for extensive-stage (ES) patients. We present a case of a 70-year-old male with ES-SCLC and asymptomatic brain metastasis who opted for immune monotherapy with serplulimab (an anti-PD-1 antibody). After four cycles, the patient achieved a confirmed partial response and a progression-free survival of over 1 year.

Background: The initial phase II stuty (NCT03215693) demonstrated that ensartinib has shown clinical activity in patients with advanced crizotinib-refractory, anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Herein, we reported the updated data on overall survival (OS) and molecular profiling from the initial phase II study.
Methods: In this study, 180 patients received 225 mg of ensartinib orally once daily until disease progression, death or withdrawal.
Introduction: In Chinese patients with NSCLC, prevalence of EGFR-mutated (EGFRm) disease is high. In the global phase 3 ADAURA study (NCT02511106), adjuvant osimertinib was found to have a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in disease-free survival (DFS) versus placebo in resected stage IB to IIIA EGFRm NSCLC. We present efficacy and safety data from a subgroup analysis of 159 Chinese patients enrolled in the People's Republic of China from ADAURA.
