The use of Highly Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG) reflectors is often proposed in the design of X-ray Crystal Spectroscopy (XCS) diagnostic systems for the next-generation tokamak devices, including the ITER project. This study introduces an experimental study based on the X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD) method to evaluate the performance of HOPG reflectors. The experimental method provides both the angular responses and the reflectivities of the HOPG reflectors.

This study utilizes the fourth phase of land use data from the Resource and Environment Science Data Centre of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We corrected the ESV coefficient using the equivalent factor method for value per unit area and integrated the biomass factor of farmland ecosystems in Shaanxi Province.

Efficacy and safety of combined low-dose rituximab regimen for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy.

Objective: To determine the efficacy and safety of combined low-dose rituximab with conventional therapy for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) treatment.

Methods: Total 73 patients with CIDP were enrolled for the retrospective cohort study, and divided into conventional first-line therapy cohort (n = 40) and combined low-dose rituximab (100 mg per infusion) cohort (n = 33). The outcome measures include scores of I-RODS, mRS, INCAT, ONLS, TSS, and COMPASS 31 scale at baseline and regular four visits (4, 16, 28, and 52 weeks), as well as proportion of favorable response and outcome, corticosteroids dosage, and deterioration occurrence during follow-up.

Methods: Patients with SMA who were treated with nusinersen in the Department of Neurology of the First Hospital of Jilin University between April 20 and May 20, 2024 were selected using the purposive sampling method, and semi-structured interviews were conducted. Introduction: Productivity-adjusted life-year (PALY) is a relatively new measure for quantifying the impact of disease on productivity. This study aims to systematically review the productivity factors such as absenteeism and presenteeism among informal caregivers of patients with a wide range of chronic health conditions to inform the PALY quantifications.
