Objective: This study explored the surgical technique and clinical application of the dorsal metacarpal cutaneous branch flap of the radial digital artery of the index finger.
Methods: Through the anatomical dissection of 10 hand specimens, we examined the origin and characteristics of the artery and its branches towards the hand dorsum. Furthermore, the soft tissue defects of the index finger in 12 patients admitted to our hospital between 2017 and 2021 were surgically repaired using the dorsal metacarpal cutaneous branch flap of the radial digital artery of the index finger.
Internal hernias are a rare condition and sometimes life-threatening, and they need an emergency exploratory laparotomy. Appendicectomy for chronic appendicitis is controversial. Without timely treatment, chronic appendicitis may develop into a ruptured appendix and an infection that spreads to other parts of the body, and other serious complications.

In this study, we expect a better understanding of the molecular mechanism of gastric cancer from the bioinformatic methods. By systematically addressing the differential expression of microRNAs (miRNAs) and mRNAs between gastric cancer specimens and normal gastric specimens with the application of bioinformatics tools, A total of 206 DEGs and 38 DEMs were identified.

It is involved in various RNA secondary structure alteration processes, including translation, nuclear splicing, and ribosome assembly. It is reported to be associated with the neurodevelopmental disorder with brain anomalies, and a recent study suggests that DHX37 is a functional regulator of CD8 T cells.

Existing non-surgical treatments have a limited effect on the repair of cartilage and on bone regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous bioactive substance that can repair cartilage injury and accelerate bone regeneration effectively.

Splenic artery aneurysm can be complicated by rupture resulting in hypovolemic shock, which can be fatal if not treat properly. We report a case of a 50-year-old man who presented with sudden onset of left upper quadrant pain and shock.

We herein present two cases of migration of metal clips into the duodenum in patients who developed upper quadrant discomfort and a poor appetite after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Gastroscopy revealed metal clips in the duodenum.
