Granulocyte transfusion is used to manage refractory infections in patients with severe neutropenia. One of the main challenges in providing granulocyte products is the availability of a suitable donor. This study was designed to analyse deferral patterns to appropriately create a pool of granulocyte donors.

However, Health Information Technologies (HITs) can simplify access to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), reduce waiting times, and provide anonymous support and reliable information. (2) Methods: A single-centre prospective observational study examined the impact of "CYP as One"-a digital referral point to CAMHS-on waiting times and referral rejection rates.

The instrumental value of culture and its subsequential public investment is grounded in the interplay of social, cultural and economic capital to attain and preserve wellbeing and health and foster social mobility. The current evidence addresses the effectiveness of arts interventions in improving illnesses.

Medical thoracoscopy may help physicians diagnose such cases. We aimed to study the diagnostic yield of medical thoracoscopy in patients with undiagnosed exudative pleural effusion and assess the safety profile of the medical thoracoscopy.

Immunosuppressants and antifibrotics are used in the management of RA ILD. The clinicodemographic profile and presentation in our country need to be further explored.

The "CYP as One" online mental health referral platform was co-created to overcome these challenges. (2) Methods: This study aims to improve "CYP as One" accessibility and usability and, subsequently, support CAMHS to improve waiting times.

Background: Tamarind seed aspiration is not frequent in children and is usually observed in kids from rural backgrounds, with easy access to tamarind fruits and their by-products.
Materials And Methods: We report a retrospective review of five patients managed in the pediatric surgery department for tamarind seed aspiration into the tracheobronchial tree. The data were analyzed based on age, clinical presentation, bronchoscopic observations, and the challenges faced during the rigid bronchoscopic retrieval and postoperative course.
Introduction: Performing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in duodenal switch (DS) patients is challenging given their surgically altered anatomy. There have been very few reported cases of trans enteric rendezvous ERCP to relieve biliary obstruction in DS patients. More specifically, there has not been any reported cases of this procedure being performed in loop DS, also known as SADI (single anastomosis duodeno-ileostomy) or SIPS (stomach intestinal pylorus sparing procedure).

Increased liver lipids, particularly those derived from the pathway of de novo lipogenesis (DNL), have been identified as a hallmark feature in individuals with high liver fat. This has led to much activity in basic science and drug development in this area.

The development of language is therefore strongly intertwined with the development of these capacities and their neurobiological substrates. Consequently, language problems, for example those of children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), are explained by a variety of etiological pathways and each of these pathways will be associated with specific risk factors.

A 57-year-old farmer presented with chronic cough and recurrent hemoptysis, previously treated for sputum positive pulmonary tuberculosis. Referred to us for evaluation of drug resistant tuberculosis as his sputum was persistently positive for acid fast bacilli along with radiological worsening even after 6 months of antitubercular treatment. Bronchoalveolar lavage was done and he was diagnosed with a rare mixed non-tuberculous mycobacyteria (NTM) pulmonary infection despite no immune dysfunction.

The results of a phase 3 randomized controlled trial are reported, evaluating the efficacy and safety of IP in the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19. It includes 416 symptomatic patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection.

However, several potential mechanisms causing abnormal endothelial insulin signaling in T2D need further investigation. Evidence indicates that the activity of ADAM17 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase-17) and the presence of insulin receptor (IR) in plasma are increased in subjects with T2D.

These tumors are usually slow growing with a benign disease course but can easily be mistaken for carcinoid tumors or adenocarcinoma in cytology or histopathology specimens. Rare occurrences of metastases have been reported in the literature making F-labeled fluoro-2-deoxyglucose positron emission tomography and computed tomography useful for the evaluation of these tumors.

Available human data examining hepatic mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation (FAO) and hepatic mitochondrial turnover in NAFLD and NASH are scant.
Approach And Results: To investigate this relationship, liver biopsies were obtained from patients with obesity undergoing bariatric surgery and data clustered into four groups based on hepatic histopathological classification: Control (CTRL; no disease); NAFL (steatosis only); Borderline-NASH (steatosis with lobular inflammation or hepatocellular ballooning); and Definite-NASH (D-NASH; steatosis, lobular inflammation, and hepatocellular ballooning).
The aim of this case is to illustrate theF-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography-computed tomography findings of a patient who was admitted in AIIMS, Raipur, for the preoperative evaluation of Marjolin ulcer and was later diagnosed with COVID-19 infection. Apart from the primary lesion in the right foot and pelvic lymph nodes, the scan revealed mild FDG-avid basal ground-glass opacities in bilateral lung fields with mediastinal and hilar lymph nodal involvement, in an otherwise asymptomatic patient.

Rapid spread with rampant growth of cases and deaths brought forth an urgent need for novel therapies including vaccinations. The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 disease have been implemented at an unprecedented scale in an effort to combat the unrelenting pandemic.

Much less is known about mid-to-high colorectal anastomosis, which carries a leak rate of 2-4%. The objective of this study was to determine our AL rate after mid-to-high colorectal anastomosis and associated risk factors.

Patients scheduled for elective bariatric surgery were prospectively recruited from a bariatric clinic. An intraoperative liver biopsy was performed, and liver histology was evaluated by a pathologist blinded to the patients' data.
