Aiming at the problems of complex environment and serious dust pollution in large open-pit coal yards, a dust suppression gel with a dual network structure was prepared by modifying the soluble starch and sodium alginate with iron ions. The changes of functional groups, thermal stability, and morphology structure before and after the reaction were analyzed by FTIR, TG-DSC, and SEM, and the formation mechanism of the dual network was revealed by XPS. Furthermore, the water absorption and water retention experiments proved that the dual network structure is more conducive to water retention than the single-layer network.

In this study, we construct CdS@MoS (CM) nanohybrids with a 3D hierarchical configuration to enhance the separation and transfer efficiency of the photo-induced electron by a covalent-anion-driven self-assembly method. The vertical orientation of MoS ultrathin nanosheets not only provides a large specific surface area for the oxidation and reduction reactions but also enables the active edge sites of MoS to be maximally exposed.

T helper 17 cells (Th17) and CD4CD8 (double negative, DN) T cells are actively involved in the pathogenesis of pSS. Melatonin shows important immunoregulatory functions in multiple T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases.

With the development of high-throughput technologies, the accumulation of large amounts of multidimensional genomic data provides an excellent opportunity to study the multilevel biological regulatory relationships in cancer. Based on the hypothesis of competitive endogenous ribonucleic acid (RNA) (ceRNA) network, lncRNAs can eliminate the inhibition of microRNAs (miRNAs) on their target genes by binding to intracellular miRNA sites so as to improve the expression level of these target genes. However, previous studies on cancer expression mechanism are mostly based on individual or two-dimensional data, and lack of integration and analysis of various RNA-seq data, making it difficult to verify the complex biological relationships involved.

Methods: A total of 59 clinic cases were screened out, whose M3 were impacted and the distal alveolar bone of M2 had been destroyed horizontally. They were randomly divided into 2 groups based on whether they would have laser irradiation or not after M3 extraction.
(1) Background: To explore the effect of exercise on the formation and recovery of alcoholic liver disease (ALD) and whether the IL-6−p47phox oxidative−stress axis is involved in that process. (2) Methods: Firstly, 23 six-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into the Con group, ALD group, ALD + NOXI group, ALD + Ex group, and ALD + Ex + NOXI group. The Liber−DeCarli alcoholic liquid diet was used for 6 weeks to establish the ALD mice model, and the Con group was given the TP4030C control diet.

Stereoselective cyclopropanation reaction of alkenes is usually achieved by metal complexes via singlet-metal-carbene intermediates. However, previous transition-metal-catalyzed cyclopropanation of alkenes with acylsilanes afforded low diastereoselectivity. Herein, we report the first visible-light-induced transition-metal-free cyclopropanation reaction of terminal alkenes with trifluoroacetylsilanes and difluoroacetylsilanes.

Total surgical resection was extremely important for curing PAs, whereas tumor stiffness has gradually become the most critical factor affecting the resection rate in PAs. We aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms of tumor stiffening and explore novel medications to reduce stiffness for improving surgical remission rates in PA patients.

Previous studies have only investigated the relaxation process of epoxy resins through dielectric spectroscopy. The trap characteristics of the relaxation process by thermally stimulated depolarization current (TSDC) analysis are less studied.

When the as-prepared thienoviologen derivatives are dispersed in polyacrylamide (PAAm) hydrogels, photochromic (PC) and electrochromic (EC) bifunctional hydrogels can be simply realized. The incorporated thiophene or ethylenedioxylthiophene bridge not only expands the photoresponse range but also stabilizes the photoinduced radical intermediate.

However, information regarding the spatio-vertical distributions of MPs in rivers, and their associations with surrounding industrial activities, is scarce and unclear. This study investigated MPs in the Taipu River, where there is a highly developed textile industry in Yangtze River Delta, China.

We found the adult newborn neurons at 4 weeks are recruited by learning and subjected to epigenetic regulations, consequently reducing their ability to be re-recruited later. After removal of the epigenetic blockage, Suv39h1 KO mice showed an increased recruiting number of aged newborn neurons and enhanced flexibility in learning tasks.

Innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) constitute a novel family of immune cells that initially originate from common innate lymphoid progenitors. Termed "T cells counterparts," ILCs play a prominent role in inflammatory-immune diseases.

Purpose: To address whether Curcumin has synergistic effect with cytarabine (Ara-C) in treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Methods: A xenograft AML mouse model was established by injecting HL-60 cells into tail vein of mice to assess the function of Curcumin. Mononuclear cells (MNCs) isolated from AML mice and AML cell lines were used to examine the effect of Curcumin.
