With the rapid development of wearable electronic devices, flexible supercapacitors have gained strong interest. However, traditional sandwich supercapacitors have weak interfacial binding, resulting in high interface resistance and poor deformability. Herein, a self-healing integrated supercapacitor based on a polyacrylic acid-polyisodecyl methacrylate-CoSO gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) was developed.

Background: Men who have sex with men (MSM) globally face a high risk of HIV infection. Previous studies indicate that customized short message service (SMS) interventions could reduce high-risk behaviors that associated with HIV transmission. This study aims to evaluate the health and economic impacts of such interventions among MSM in China.

Despite advancements in treatment methods, the overall survival rate remains low due to limitations such as poor targeting and low bioavailability, which result in the limited efficacy of traditional drug therapies. Nanomedicine is considered to be a promising strategy in tumor therapy, offering the potential for maximal anti-tumor effects.

This study was aimed to evaluate the clinical utility of simultaneous plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) detection using mNGS.
Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 95 patients with pneumonia-derived sepsis (PDS) admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) between October 2021 and January 2023.
Background: China faces the highest burden of latent multidrug-resistant or rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis (MDR/RR-TB). We aim to evaluate the health and economic impacts of Vaccae (a novel TB vaccine) and enhanced drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) management strategies.
Methods: Using a compartmental model calibrated with national TB data, we evaluated nine interventions from 2025-2050: enhanced DR-TB management (S1); Vaccae vaccination for those with Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection targeting specific age groups (S2: adolescents, S3: adolescents and young adults, S4: working-age adults, S5: elderly); and combined strategies (S6: S2+S1, S7: S3+S1, S8: S4+S1, S9: S5+S1).

The integration of flexible structure batteries (FSBs) into electronic equipment is an effective method to significantly improve energy efficiency, whereas traditional battery separators, with poor mechanical properties, low liquid electrolyte capture ability, and weak thermal stability, cannot meet the practical requirements of various applications. To address these challenges, in this study, a multifunctional composite quasi-solid-state electrolyte (CQE) was synthesized by electrospinning poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) fibers on both sides of an aramid nanofibers (ANFs) fibrous film for application in high-performance FSBs. Here, the ANF film serves as a structural framework, thus enhancing the mechanical properties and thermal stability of the CQE, while the "thermal closed-hole effect" and liquid electrolyte capture capability of the PVDF-HFP film in the CQE improve the overall safety of the FSBs.

Prioritizing elderly vaccination significantly reduced multidrug-resistant or rifampicin-resistant TB incidence and mortality, while avoiding the need for second-line treatment, offering a promising approach to mitigate DR-TB burden by 2050.

Objective: Continuous research on the structure and function of intestinal microecology has confirmed the association between gut microbiota and the occurrence, development, and outcome of allergic diseases. Here, we explored the genetic causality between gut microbiota and rhinitis.
Methods: We conducted a two-sample Mendelian Randomization (MR) study to investigate the genetic causal relationship between gut microbiota and allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis.

Background: Research on post-infarction insomnia, particularly short sleep duration following myocardial infarction (MI), remains limited. Currently, there are no existing guidelines or risk prediction models to assist physicians in managing or preventing short sleep duration or insomnia following MI. This study aims to develop a nomogram for predicting the risk of short sleep duration after MI.

Moreover, the scorching climate prevalent in the rice-growing regions of South China poses obstacles to the cultivation of good-quality, heavy-grain varieties. Addressing this dilemma requires the development of resilient varieties capable of withstanding multiple stress factors.
