Existing autonomous driving systems face challenges in accurately capturing drivers' cognitive states, often resulting in decisions misaligned with drivers' intentions. To address this limitation, this study introduces a pioneering human-centric spatial cognition detecting system based on drivers' electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Unlike conventional EEG-based systems that focus on intention recognition or hazard perception, the proposed system can further extract drivers' spatial cognition across two dimensions: relative distance and relative orientation.

This study analyzed targeted sequencing data from 6530 tissue samples from patients with metastatic Chinese colorectal cancer (CRC) to identify low mutation frequency and subgroup-specific driver genes, using three algorithms for overall CRC as well as across different clinicopathological subgroups. We analyzed 425 cancer-related genes, identifying 101 potential driver genes, including 36 novel to CRC. Notably, some genes demonstrated subgroup specificity; for instance, ERBB4 was found as a male-specific driver gene and mutations of ERBB4 only influenced the prognosis of male patients with CRC.

Heat treatment, known for its detoxification and volume reduction characteristics, is a promising technology for the management of municipal solid waste incineration fly ash (MFA) and municipal sludge (MS). This paper uses the solid residue from MFA and MS after co-washing as the raw material to study the melting properties, phase transformations, changes in Cl content, heavy metal removal efficiency, and leaching toxicity. Mycobacterium abscessus (MAB) is intrinsically resistant to many antibiotics, but the evolution of acquired drug resistance is poorly understood. We analyzed published genomes of 5,617 clinical MAB isolates from 20 countries and searched for signals of ongoing evolution in 35 drug-resistance-associated genes.
