Background: Neurolymphomatosis refers to infiltration of the peripheral nervous system (PNS) by non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Diagnostic intervals in neurolymphomatosis and factors delaying diagnosis have not been evaluated. We therefore aimed to analyze diagnostic intervals in a large cohort.

When an earthquake occurs, the Earth surface experiences both translational and rotational motions. The latter are usually not monitored, but their measurement and characterization are essential for a full description of the ground motion.

Objective: The study aimed to measure the validity of International Classification of Diseases, 10th Edition (ICD-10) code F44.5 for functional seizure disorder (FSD) in the Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System electronic health record (VA EHR).
Methods: The study used an informatics search tool, a natural language processing algorithm and a chart review to validate FSD coding.
A passive seismic experiment is carried out at the non-volcanic highly degassing site of Mefite d'Ansanto located at the northern tip of the Irpinia region (southern Italy), where the 1980 M 6.9 destructive earthquake occurred. Between 2020 and 2021, background seismic noise was recorded by deploying a broadband seismic station and a seismic array composed of seven 1 Hz three-component sensors.

We aimed to determine the impact of early HCT, performed within the first 6 h following CA, on decision-making following resuscitation.
Methods: We identified a cohort of initially unconscious post-CA patients at a tertiary care academic medical center from 2012 to 2017.
Background: Functional neurological disorders (FNDs) are neurological symptoms that cannot be explained by an underlying neurological lesion or other medical illness and that do not have clear neuropathological correlates. Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) are a common and highly disabling form of FND, characterized by paroxysmal episodes of involuntary movements and altered consciousness that can appear clinically similar to epileptic seizures. PNES are unique among FNDs in that they are diagnosed by video electroencephalographic (VEEG), a well-established biomarker for the disorder.

We aimed to define clinical and imaging features and determine prognostic factors for immunodeficiency-associated PCNSL.
Methods: All PCNSL cases seen at Yale-New Haven Hospital between 2002 and 2017 were retrospectively screened for immunodeficiency.
We have designed and developed lab-on-fibre seismic sensors containing a micro-opto-mechanical cavity on the fibre tip. The mechanical cavity is designed as a double cantilever suspended on the fibre end facet and connected to a proof mass to tune its response. Ground acceleration leads to displacement of the cavity length, which in turn can be remotely detected using an interferometric interrogation technique.

An alternative approach to identifying specific phases is to measure the lag between the S and P waves. We cross-correlate vertical and horizontal seismograms to reveal signals common to both, but with the horizontal delayed with respect to the vertical.

All patients had been previously treated. Four complete and six partial responses were observed; nine patients had stable disease and four other patients were non-responders and died due to progression in a few months.

We report the clinical and endocrine results from 40 goserelin-treated premenopausal patients with advanced breast cancer.
Methods: A depot formulation of the drug (3.
Tumor recurrence at the site of radical surgery for mammary carcinoma has been studied in 101 cases. Analysis revealed the proximate causes--tumour size, axillary node metastases--and the more extensive type of surgery have a positive correlation even if the P values do not reach the significant value. The prognosis suggests that clinically this phenomenon, seen in the long term, does not differ from that of distant skin and subcutaneous metastases.

The authors found that 10-year survival of our patients increased from 59.4% of the first period of time to 65% of the second (P = 0.

The two forms have a high degree of antigenic identity and have similar pH-activity profiles with tributyroylglycerol as a substrate with optima at pH 7. They differ as follows: A, in contrast to B, requires activation at alkaline pH before analysis; A binds with concanavalin-A more completely than B; the net charges are slightly different at pH 8; and the isoelectric points are different.

Out of 753 patients with breast cancer treated with radical mastectomy from 1968 to 1970 at the National Cancer Institute of Milan, Italy, 308 had histologically proven positive nodes. The number of positive nodes was not dependent on the location of the primary tumour, its diameter and the patient's age. Extracapsular invasion was related to the number of positive nodes at a statistically significant level: P value 2 X 10(-9).

When this is used in association with conventional cytologic examination the sensitivity of the procedure is increased from 73% to 78%. In 14% of cases, these combined aspiration techniques provided extra information concerning the histotype and infiltration of the tumor which was not obtainable with cytology alone.
