In this study, we focused on innovative approaches to improve drug administration in oral pathology, especially by transmucosal and transdermal pathways. These improvements refer to the type of microneedles used (proposing needles in the saw), to the use of certain enhancers such as essential oils (which, besides the amplifier action, also have intrinsic actions on oral health), to associations of active substances with synergistic action, as well as the use of copolymeric membranes, cemented directly on the tooth. We also propose a review of the principles of release at the level of the oral mucosa and of the main release systems used in oral pathology.

Using measurements at the Pierre Auger Observatory we show full compatibility between our radio and the previously published fluorescence dataset, and between a subset of air showers observed simultaneously with both radio and fluorescence techniques, a measurement setup unique to the Pierre Auger Observatory. Furthermore, we show radio X_{max} resolution as a function of energy and demonstrate the ability to make competitive high-resolution X_{max} measurements with even a sparse radio array.

Data Sources: The Cochrane library, Medline, Embase, and CINAHL databases.
Purpose: To investigate the risk of developmental coordination disorder (DCD) and motor impairment for children aged 8 to 9 years following newborn surgery.
Methods: Prospective longitudinal cohort study. Motor proficiency and risk of DCD were assessed using the Movement Assessment Battery for Children (second edition) for children born 37 weeks of gestation and older who had undergone newborn cardiac surgery (CS) or non-cardiac surgery (NCS).
To date, the best-performing blind super-resolution (SR) techniques follow one of two paradigms: (A) train standard SR networks on synthetic low-resolution-high-resolution (LR-HR) pairs or (B) predict the degradations of an LR image and then use these to inform a customised SR network. Despite significant progress, subscribers to the former miss out on useful degradation information and followers of the latter rely on weaker SR networks, which are significantly outperformed by the latest architectural advancements. An Amptek FAST SDD, with C1 (SiN) window, measures bremsstrahlung emitted from PFRC-2 plasma to extract the electron temperature (T) and density (n). The C1 window has low transmissivity for photons with energy below 200 eV though will transmit some VUV and soft x-ray photons, which PFRC-2 plasmas abundantly emit.

Methods: Thirty-seven patients who had survived following ECMO support from 2008 to 2018 had their neurodevelopmental outcomes assessed and analysed using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development. Developmental outcome was defined as impairment in any of the developmental domains of motor function, cognition and language with mild impairment being 1-2 standard deviations below the test mean, moderate being 2-3 standard deviations below and severe being greater than 3 standard deviations below.

Aim: To investigate/evaluate the impact of hospital transfers on breastfeeding outcomes for infants requiring neonatal intensive care and to explore approaches to supporting lactation and breastfeeding.
Methods: A national study of two cohorts of infants admitted to the nine neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) in New South Wales (NSW) Australia using data sourced from a prospectively collected NICUS data collection.
Results: A total of 7829 infants were admitted to the nine NICUs in NSW for two 18-month cohorts (2012/2013 and 2015/2016) and were included in the study.
We present the first measurement of the fluctuations in the number of muons in extensive air showers produced by ultrahigh energy cosmic rays. We find that the measured fluctuations are in good agreement with predictions from air shower simulations. This observation provides new insights into the origin of the previously reported deficit of muons in air shower simulations and constrains models of hadronic interactions at ultrahigh energies.

Study Design: Sixty preterm infants, born before 32 weeks of gestation, were enrolled; 30 had bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD, defined as the need for respiratory support and/or supplemental oxygen at 36 weeks of postmenstrual age). Cerebral perfusion, cTOI, and polysomnography were measured in both the supine and prone position with the initial position being randomized.
