Capsular polysaccharides secreted by building façade colonisers: characterisation and adsorption to surfaces.

Exopolymers secreted by algal and cyanobacterial strains isolated from building façades were imaged by microscopy techniques. They were extracted and characterised to investigate their possible contribution to interactions with solid surfaces.
