The aim of this study was to assess, in patients undergoing CRRT during venovenous ECMO (vv-ECMO), the efficacy and safety of adding regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) for CRRT circuit anticoagulation (RCA + UFH group) compared with the sole systemic heparin anticoagulation (UFH group).
