Materials And Methods.

Gestational weight gain as a predictor of macrosomia and low birth weight: a systematic review.

Objectives: To evaluate the predictive capacity of gestational weight gain recommendations regarding low birth weight (LBW) and neonatal macrosomia, proposed by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the Latin American Center of Perinatology (CLAP).

Mate Rials And Methods: The bibliographic search was performed in PubMed, Embase (via Ovid), Cochrane Library, EBSCOhost, Sco pus, LILACS and SciELO. Methodological quality was evaluated using QUADAS 2.

Objectives: Synthesize available information on the effects of front-of-package nutritional labeling on choice, purchase, and consumption of food and beverages, and nutritional status of consumers, and identify factors that influence its effectiveness.

Methods: A synopsis of systematic reviews was carried out following PRISMA recommendations. A literature search was performed in MEDLINE (PubMed), Cochrane Library, LILACS, EBSCOhost, and Scopus, limited to studies published in Spanish or English with no restrictions on date of publication.
