The chronic indeterminate phase of Chagas' disease is asymptomatic despite positive test results for antibodies specific to Trypanosoma cruzi. CD62P-APC (P-selectin) and PAC-1 FITC (GpIIb/IIIa) may improve diagnosis as biomarkers of platelet activity.
