Objective: This study aims to provide rapid and up-to-date evidence on the effectiveness of Health at Every Size (HAES) interventions compared to controls or other conventional approaches in individuals with overweight or obesity, with the goal of developing more effective and body-diverse respectful strategies.

Methods: A review of literature was carried out using the following databases: PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, and SciELO. Research articles were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Purpose Of Review: Obesity is a chronic disease, a major public health problem due to its association with non-communicable diseases and all-cause mortality. Because of their condition, patients with morbid obesity develop several histopathological changes in the liver, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), cirrhosis, and end-stage liver disease (ESLD). Psoriasis is an immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease associated with multiple comorbidities. Considered one of the most common inflammatory skin diseases among the general population, it not only affects the skin, but also negatively impacts other organs and joints. In addition, psoriasis has been associated with several chronic cardio-metabolic diseases such as obesity, which would seem to be (i) a risk factor for the onset of psoriasis and (ii) a worsening factor of the severity of the disease.
