An accurate cytohistologic diagnosis is important to avoid overtreatment of cervical intraepithelial lesions. The three-tiered Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) classification, grades 1, 2 and 3, despite poor agreement among pathologists in diagnosing CIN2, is still being used. The College of American Pathologists recommended an alternative two-tiered classification that has not yet been universally accepted.

Unraveling malignant phenotype of peritumoral tissue: transcriptomic insights into early-stage breast cancer.

Background: Early-stage invasive ductal carcinoma displays high survival rates due to early detection and treatments. However, there is still a chance of relapse of 3-15% after treatment. Purpose: The main objective was to characterize the tracer uptake kinetics of [F]fluoromethylcholine ([F]F-CHO) in high-grade gliomas (HGG) through a full PET kinetic modeling approach. Secondarily, we aimed to explore the relationship between the PET uptake measures and the HGG molecular features.

Introduction: Sentinel lymph node (SLN) has recently been introduced as a standard staging technique in endometrial cancer (EC). There are some issues regarding team experience and para-aortic detection.

Objective: to report the accuracy of SLN detection in EC with a dual tracer (ICG and Tc99) and dual injection site (cervix and fundus) during the learning curve.

ALK-positive large B-cell lymphoma is an aggressive lymphoid neoplasm characterized by a monomorphic proliferation of immunoblast-like cells expressing a plasmablastic phenotype and carrying ALK rearrangements. MYC rearrangements are frequent in plasmablastic lymphomas, advanced plasma cell myelomas and a subgroup of diffuse large B-cell lymphomas, but their presence in ALK-positive large B-cell lymphomas is unknown. MYC expression is downregulated by BLIMP1, a master modulator of plasma cell differentiation.
