[Large adrenal pseudocyst mimicking cystic pheochromocytoma: excision minimising laparoscopic access].

Introduction: Adrenal cysts and pseudocysts are rare and usually benign and asymptomatic; they are discovered either accidentally or during examination for non-specific abdominal discomfort. Less frequently, they may cause gastrointestinal symptoms or abdominal or lumbar pain, particularly when they are quite large. Histologically, they are classified as epithelial, endothelial, parasitic and pseudocysts (with a fibrous wall but no epithelium).

Bypass graft imaging and coronary anomalies in MDCT.

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is used to restore the blood flow in an ischemic area of myocardium using conduits bypassing a diseased coronary artery. Until now, conventional angiography has been the recognized technique to study patients with bypass grafts. Nowadays, non-invasive methods such as multi-detector CT (MDCT) emerge as reliable imaging methods in the study of CABG.

Undescended ovary is a rare disorder that can be associated with müllerian malformations. There is an unclear association with infertility and malignant disease. When an ovary is not in its normal location, it is sought in other locations above the pelvic brim.

Background: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) rarely develop outside the digestive tract and in the soft tissues of abdomen and retroperitoneum. Such tumors are designated extra-GISTs (EGISTs). Cytologic and immunocytochemical features of a case of EGIST are reported.
