[Treatment of acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction with primary percutaneous coronary intervention].

Introduction: Treatment of acute myocardial infarction has changed significantly in recent years. Since January 1st, 2003 primary coronary intervention has been organized in Budapest. The authors show the results during the implementation of this method in the first 6 months with emphasizing its importance.
