Individuals with end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) on dialysis are at a high risk of developing foot ulcerations and undergoing subsequent lower extremity amputation (LEA), which can exert significant impacts on their quality of life and contribute to rising healthcare costs. We aimed to identify risk factors associated with LEA in patients with ESKD to predict LEA progression and eventually prevent it.
