Introduction: Corticotropin releasing hormone (CRH)-stimulated bilateral inferior petrosal sinus sampling (BIPSS) is the most accurate procedure in the differential diagnosis of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)-dependent Cushing's syndrome (CS) with a sensitivity of 88-100% and a specificity of 67-100%. However, CRH is not available globally currently. We undertook this study of BIPSS using lysine vasopressin (LVP) as an agent to stimulate the release of ACTH from corticotrophs.

Collaborative initiatives of the drone industry and healthcare sector are becoming a pivotal step in restructuring healthcare service delivery in India. This paper documents knowledge and perceptions of healthcare workers from various districts of Manipur and Nagaland towards the use of drones for medical supply in the region. The study utilized 27 in-depth interviews with healthcare workers to collect qualitative data, which was then analyzed using NVivo 14 for thematic and content analysis.

These complications result from a complex interplay of genetic and physiological factors, including abnormal hemoglobin production, chronic inflammation, and oxidative stress. This review discusses the pathophysiology, pre-clinical symptoms, and clinical manifestations of musculoskeletal complications in SCD, as well as current treatment options, including pharmacological interventions, surgical procedures, and bone marrow transplantation.
