Results following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for TP53-mutated myeloid malignancies are disappointing. Several HSCT centers decline to perform HSCT for patients with TP53 mutation because of poor outcomes. In this study, we analyzed 240 patients with TP53-mutated myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that underwent HSCT.

Plants are vulnerable to various abiotic stresses in the natural growing environment, among which salt stress can seriously affect plant growth, development and yield. Protein families containing trimeric tetrapeptide repeat sequences have a crucial function in plant resilience to non-living factors and participate in multiple aspects of plant growth and development. For this investigation, we acquired the apple MdTPR16 gene.

Overall, 84 patients (53 had stage I-II and 31 had stage III-IV disease) received PBVD. The median PLD treatment duration was 16 weeks (interquartile range [IQR]: 8-24) for stage I-II and 24 weeks (IQR: 12-24) for stage III-IV.

It is really a challenge for clinical interpretation of those variants. Co-segregation with disease in affected family members or specific phenotypes such as the abnormal Hb H are very helpful to assess the pathogenicity of rare variants.

Plant pathogenic diseases outbreaks are enhancing and threatening food security and safety for the vulnerable in different regions worldwide. Silicon (Si) is considered a non-essential element for plant growth.

However, the influence of crystalline structure on digestion performance is often overlooked despite their unique characteristics. In this study, we investigated how different crystalline forms of FeOOH affect substrate utilization, sludge activity, and the microbiomes in up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactors.

However, the status and predictors of QoL in China remain unclear. This retrospective follow-up study aimed to examine the QoL levels among BC patients following surgery and to assess the influence of sociodemographic, clinical, and psychological factors on QoL.

Numerous studies have suggested that and could increase short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) production, thus improving the intestinal microbiota composition, mitigating obesity, and protecting the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to investigate the impact of TWK10 (TWK10) on gut dysbiosis, obesity, and constipation induced by a high-fat diet and loperamide.

However, the selection and optimization of the hole transport layer (HTL) is still a major challenge for efficiency breakthrough of the SbS solar cells. In this work, lead sulfide (PbS) is deposited as a HTL of the SbS device by thermal evaporation for the first time.

For patients with sacrococcygeal resection of combined pelvic organs, a basement membrane mesh was used to rebuild the pelvic floor with a pedicled greater omentum flap to isolate the abdominopelvic cavity. The main operation was to pull the greater omentum, which preserved the double vascular arches, to the pelvic floor to cover the pelvic floor, and then the mesh was used to cover the posterior peritoneal defect and pelvic inlet with absorbable sutures of 2-0 or thicker.

MRI and clinical pathological data of patients confirmed by pathology as proliferative HCC (178 cases) and non-proliferative HCC (378 cases) between September 2017 and November 2022 who underwent preoperative Gd-EOB-DTPA enhanced MRI scans were retrospectively collected. The MRI features and clinical pathological characteristics of proliferative and non-proliferative HCC were evaluated.

Due to its rarity and nonspecific clinical presentations, it is often misdiagnosed or overlooked. Here, we report a case of a 68-year-old male diagnosed with primary seminal vesicle lymphoma, coinciding with prostate cancer.

The NTz acceptor unit is coupled with three distinct donor units, namely dialkylated terthiophene (3T), dialkylated quaterthiophene (4T), and dialkylated bisthienyl thienothiophene (2T-TT) to yield copolymers designated as PNTz3T, PNTz4T, and PNTzTT. The difference in donor units leads to diverse molecule stacking and electronic properties, which can be systematically discovered via the three polymers.

Background: Maternal lipid metabolism has been implicated in elevating the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, which is a particularly significant concern in twin pregnancies. However, the precise relationship between early pregnancy dyslipidemia and the risk of preterm birth (PTB) in twin pregnancies remains unclear.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included women with twin pregnancies between January 2018 and December 2023.
The recent past has witnessed remarkable progress in organic electronics, driven by the quest for flexible, lightweight, and cost-effective electronic devices. Semiconducting polymers (SCPs) have emerged as key materials in this field, offering unique electronic and optoelectronic properties along with mechanical flexibility. This study focuses on designing, synthesizing, and utilizing novel donor-acceptor (D-A) copolymer-based SCPs introducing a difluorothiophene moiety in the polymeric backbone.

Background: In relapsed/refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a negative prognosis is frequently linked to heightened epigenetic heterogeneity. Chidamide, a selective histone deacetylase inhibitor, shows promise as a targeted therapy for R/R DLBCL by targeting abnormal epigenetic changes associated with poor prognosis.
Methods: A cohort of 27 ineligible patients with R/R DLBCL participated in an open - label, single - arm study.
Objective: To investigate the effect of Ilizarov technique combined with rotational center dome-shaped osteotomy in the treatment of juvenile distal femoral valgus deformity.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of 11 patients with valgus deformity of the distal femur who had been admitted and followed up completely from January 2016 to October 2020. There were 7 males and 4 females.
Background: Malignant tumors are one of the leading causes of death worldwide, imposing a substantial economic and social burden. Early detection is the key to improving cure rates and reducing mortality rates, which requires the development of sensitive early detection technologies. Signal amplification techniques play a crucial role in aptamer-based early detection of tumors and are increasingly garnering attention from researchers.
