Summary: In September 2022, the second in a series of meetings hosted by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health Biomarkers Consortium, and sponsored by Wellcome Trust, entitled "Reverse Engineering of Digital Measures," was held in Zurich, Switzerland, with a broad range of stakeholders sharing their experience across four case studies to examine how patient centricity is essential in shaping development and validation of digital evidence generation tools.

This study expands results from recent prostatic urethral lift (PUL) clinical trials by examining outcomes within a large unconstrained multicenter data set. Retrospective chart review and analysis of 1413 consecutive patients who received PUL in North America and Australia was performed. International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life (QoL), and maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax) were evaluated at 1, 3, 6, 12, and 24 months post-procedure for all nonurinary retention subjects (Group A) and retention subjects (Group B).

The pathogenicity of mycobacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis is closely associated with their capacity to survive within host macrophages. A crucial virulence factor for intracellular mycobacterial survival is protein kinase G (PknG), a eukaryotic-like serine/threonine protein kinase expressed by pathogenic mycobacteria that blocks the intracellular degradation of mycobacteria in lysosomes. Primary cutaneous lymphomas (CLs) constitute a spectrum of diseases characterized by a clonal accumulation of lymphocytes in the skin. Most CLs display a T(h)2 cytokine profile, including expression of interleukin-10 (IL-10).
