Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Syringa oblata Lindl (ZDX) is a plant in the Oleaceae family that is the primary ingredient in the classic Tibetan medicine AKARU sinensis. The plant's stem is used as a medicine, and Tibetan doctors often use it as a sedative, a use with a history of nearly 100 years. Tibetan medicine mainly uses lilac to treat headache, forgetfulness, insomnia, irritability and other symptoms.

Background: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI), particularly ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), significantly impacts global health, exacerbated by risk factors such as diabetes mellitus (DM). While the Gensini score effectively quantifies coronary artery lesions, its correlation with fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels, particularly in a non-linear fashion, has not been thoroughly explored in STEMI patients.

Methods: This study analyzed data from 464 STEMI patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention at the First People's Hospital of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, from January 2010 to October 2014.

Generative methods are currently popular for medical report generation, as they automatically generate professional reports from input images, assisting physicians in making faster and more accurate decisions. However, current methods face significant challenges: 1) Lesion areas in medical images are often difficult for models to capture accurately, and 2) even when captured, these areas are frequently not described using precise clinical diagnostic terms. To address these problems, we propose a Visual-Linguistic Diagnostic Semantic Enhancement model (VLDSE) to generate high-quality reports.

Background: The relationship between serum lipid with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) required to be explored. We aim to evaluate the association of serum lipid levels with mortality in patients with IPF.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included IPF patients with more than three years follow-up.

Article Synopsis
  • PVDF is a promising material for solid polymer electrolytes because of its good thermal stability and wide electrochemical range, but it faces issues with poor ionic conductivity due to the formation of a harmful alkaline layer on garnet fillers.
  • LiOH on the surface of these fillers contributes to the breakdown of PVDF chains, leading to unwanted chemical bonds; this can be mitigated by treating the fillers with acetic acid to create alkali-free garnets.
  • The modified PVDF electrolyte shows significantly improved ionic conductivity and a wider electrochemical window, resulting in better performance for solid-state lithium batteries, evidenced by higher discharge capacity and cycle stability.
