The article deals with studying of enzyme activity of first and second lines of anti-oxidant defense in adolescents with arterial hypertension and establishing role of genetic component in realization of mechanism of development of this pathology. The main group included 20 adolescents aged from 13 to 16 years with diagnosis of arterial hypertension stage I (risk). The control group consisted of 20 healthy adolescents of corresponding age.

Age individuality is characterized by an imbalance of the molecular mechanisms of antioxidant defense in adolescents with arterial hypertension and biliary dyskinesia, as documented by an enzyme imbalance of the first line of antioxidant defense and H2O, accumulation, by a substantial increase in glutathione peroxidase activity, and by inhibition of the activity of glutathione-dependent enzymes. The considerable rise of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate suggests tissue hypoxia. With this, enhanced neutrophil elastase activity causes damage to the structural components of vascular wall connective tissue, resulting in the development of endothelial dysfunction.

In anesthetized cats, comparative characteristics of hemodynamics and biochemical indications of postischemic period in respect to autohemoperfusion with stable blood volume and perfusion pressure, were determined. Cerebral ischemia was caused by the 15-min stop of the perfusing pump or flowmeter and a decrease of systemic arterial blood pressure to 40 ml Hg. In the autohemoperfusion of brain vessels in stable volume or stable arterial pressure, a phasic postischemic phenomenon becomes obvious.
