An efficient phospha-aldol/Meyer-Schuster rearrangement cascade reaction between propargylic aldehydes and phosphine oxides has been developed in which various phosphoryl enones were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. A comprehensive series of mechanistic experiments, including the identification of key intermediates and the application of O isotope labeling, has confirmed that this cascade reaction proceeds through a phospha-aldol followed by Meyer-Schuster rearrangement cascade reaction.

Data were collected from athletes in sports like Boxing, Sanda, Mixed Martial Arts, Freestyle Skiing, and Ski Jumping. The analysis, conducted using the PROCESS macro revealed that both state and trait anxiety significantly predict perceived stress (β = 0.

The distinctive thickening of the stratum corneum presents a challenge to drug penetration. The employment of microneedles has been demonstrated to enhance the transdermal drug delivery efficacy by creating multiple microchannels in the skin.

Herein, we developed a gas-propelled microneedle patch integrated with ferrum-chelated puerarin/quercetin nanoparticles (PQFN) to increase drug accumulation in hair follicles and reshape the perifollicular microenvironment for improved hair-regenerating effects. PQFN can rejuvenate testosterone (Tes)-induced senescence of dermal papilla cells by scavenging ROS, restoring mitochondrial function, regulating signaling pathways related to hair regeneration, and upregulating hair growth-promoting genes.

Although the use of biochar as an adsorbent for the removal of various pollutants from wastewater is well established, the use of biochar/modified biochar for the scavenging of antibiotics from aqueous media in the Fenton-like system receives less attention. The highest kasugamycin (KSM) adsorption capacity (5.0 mg g) was obtained from the pristine biochar at the lowest initial pH of 3 in Fenton-like system.
