Background: This study aimed to increase the index of suspicion for transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR) among cardiologists leading to increased screening for amyloidosis.

Methods: A retrospective algorithm was created to identify patients at risk for ATTR. A list of these patients and instructions on how to order amyloidosis testing were given to cardiologists, who then determined if further evaluation was warranted.

Ecosystem respiration is a key flux in the terrestrial carbon cycle and is affected substantially by temperature. This work analysed the time series data of nighttime net ecosystem exchange of carbon dioxide (NEE) from 196 FLUXNET2015 sites to re-evaluate the relationships between NEE and temperature. A total of 93 sites (48%) were identified to have a unimodal relationship between NEE and temperature.

To report a case of a patient undergoing GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy in which increased FDG uptake in brown adipose tissue (BAT) mimicked metastatic head and neck cancer on PET/CT imaging. A 61-year-old female with Class III obesity presented with a right-sided neck mass after significant weight loss following the use of the GLP-1 receptor agonist, Semaglutide. PET/CT revealed FDG uptake in the right level II lymph node and extensive BAT uptake throughout the neck and mediastinum, complicating the diagnosis.

It is the unique privilege of HIV providers, who take care of a disproportionate number of transgender people, to provide gender-affirming hormone therapy along with antiretroviral therapy. It could increase viral suppression rates, increase overall health outcomes, and decrease gender health disparities.

With the widespread prevalence of mobile devices, ecological momentary assessment (EMA) can be combined with geospatial data acquired through geographic techniques like global positioning system (GPS) and geographic information system. This technique enables the consideration of individuals' health and behavior outcomes of momentary exposures in spatial contexts, mostly referred to as "geographic ecological momentary assessment" or "geographically explicit EMA" (GEMA). However, the definition, scope, methods, and applications of GEMA remain unclear and unconsolidated.
