Chemotherapy-induced toxic epidermal necrolysis in a patient with multiple myeloma, a case report and literature review.

Rationale And Patient Concerns: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) are severe drug-induced skin reactions associated with a high mortality rate. The patient in this case report developed TEN after receiving the Velcade-lenalidomide-dexamethasone (VRD) regimen for the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM). The patient's concerns included the progression of the rash, pain, itching, and potential long-term complications.

Clinical Study on Minimally Invasive Liquefaction and Drainage of Hypertensive Putaminal Hemorrhage through Frontal Approach.

 Hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage is one of the most common cerebrovascular diseases with high mortality and high disability rate. The aim of this study was to observe the curative effect of minimally invasive liquefaction and drainage of hypertensive putaminal hemorrhage (HPH) through frontal approach.  This study retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of 66 HPH patients who underwent surgery from January 2012 to January 2017 including 35 males and 31 females, aged 51 to 82 years, with an average age of 61.

Effect of Aerobic Exercise on CD4 Cell Count and Lipid Profile of HIV Infected Persons in North Eastern Nigeria.

Background: Literature consistently shows dearth of published data from developing countries on effect of exercise on HIV infected persons.

Objective: The study was aimed at determining effect of aerobic exercise on CD4 cell counts and lipid profile of HIV infected persons in Northeastern Nigeria.

Methods: Sample of convenience was employed to enroll volunteer and willing 91 HIV infected persons attending antiretroviral clinic at a tertiary hospital in Northeastern Nigeria.
