Background: Nintedanib is used to treat both idiopathic and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (IPF/PPF). Evidence of both an exposure-response relationship and an exposure-toxicity relationship has been found, suggesting the potential value of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).
