The advent of automated insulin delivery (AID) systems in 2020 marked a disruptive event in managing type 1 diabetes, benefiting children and adults alike. By 2024, advances in real-world data and research motivated an update to the French consensus on AID systems to expand accessibility, refine guidelines, and optimize patient follow-up. AID systems have consistently improved glycemic control by reducing HbA1c, increasing time-in-range (TIR), and minimizing hypoglycemia, with significant benefits even for specific populations such as individuals with poor glycemic control, brittle diabetes, children, very young children, pregnant women, those with insulin resistance or gastroparesis, or after bariatric surgery.

The role of β-blockers in patients with acute myocardial injury remains unclear.
Methods: This multicenter, retrospective cohort study used data from the Tianjin Health and Medical Data Platform to assess the impact of early β-blocker use on 1-year all-cause mortality and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in acute myocardial injury patients, employing a new user and target trial emulation design.

The interplay between the brain and lungs involves intricate physiological mechanisms operating bi-directionally. Volitional breathing, unlike spontaneous breathing, offers various benefits with potential therapeutic effects. Volitional breathing involves many variables, such as breathing rate (BR) and breathing patterns.

We achieved high-quality sequencing data (mean 19.09 Gb raw reads, 15.

Although the relative extent of xanthine oxidoreductase (XOR) varies considerably in human tissues, the greatest specific activity is reported in the liver and intestines. Unlike murine models, where primary hepatocytes are readily available, human counterparts are not. As such, investigators often utilize the human carcinoma cell line HepG2 for in vitro experimentation as these cells proliferate well in culture medium.
