A patient aged 42, diagnosed with polycondritis for approximately 14 years is presented; she has undergone urgent surgery for a splenic abscess in imminent fistulization in the left pleural cavity. Her susceptibility to infections is marked in time by surgical interventions for pultaceous amygdalitis, an abscess of the right submandibular salivary gland, a splenic abscess. To be noted the peculiar connection between the illness and the pregnancy, which differs from the data to be found in reference literature that is the association with a tendency to spontaneous abortion and the sudden installation of an evolutionary acute episode during pregnancy, which was followed by deafness.

Two cases of abdominal fibromatosis are followed-up in two brothers patients development, each of them having a peculiar development. First of them underwent operation for a huge abdominal tumor with a retroperitoneal origin and intraperitoneal development which needed a complex partial resection with first jejunal loop enterectomy. The other patient had first surgery for fibrosarcoma of nuchal area and after that he underwent an operation for superior digestive haemorrhagia as a result of antral gastric fibroid tumor with transverse colic and mezocolic extension, which needed gastro-colectomy.

The variation in time of some blood biochemical parameters was investigated in 100 patients with acute head injury and coma of variable duration, in parallel with the clinical course. The purpose of this study was to establish possible correlations between the severity of the trauma (assessed according to the coma classification proposed by C. Arseni) and the variation of the parameters studied.
