[Surgical treatment of juxtarenal occlusion of the abdominal aorta].

Incidence, etiology and clinical course of chronic juxtarenal occlusion of the abdominal aorta have been studied. It was established that this type of lesion among other forms of occlusive disease of the aorto-ileal segment is encountered in 8.1% of patients.

[False aneurysms of the vascular anastomoses after reconstructive operations on the aorta and arteries of the lower extremities].

The authors have performed an analysis of examination and surgical treatment of false aneurysms of vascular anastomoses (34) in 29 patients after reconstructive operations on the aorto-iliac and femoro-popliteal segments. This late complication was found to develop in 3.3% of the patients operated upon.

Results of the investigation of clinical observations of 235 patients with late thrombosis of vascular prostheses or reconstructed arteries of the pelvis and lower extremities enabled the authors to develop a medical tactics based on the active surgery method aimed at the reestablishment of the disturbed blood flow. The time of reconstructive reoperations depends on the clinical course of recurrent ischemia. The conservative treatment, as less effective, is indicated to some patients with not severe ischemia and without local or general conditions for operations.
