[State of the hepatobiliary system and intestines in elderly patients with concurrent digestive pathology].

Common aspects have been revealed of structural and functional disorders of the biliary tract and intestine in elderly patients with digestive pathology. We recommend that lipotropic drugs, choleretics, cholekinetics, antioxidants and eubiotics be used in the treatment of the above patients.

[The frequency of detecting Campylobacter pylori in biopsies of the gastric mucosa].

Campylobacter pylori were detected in 70% of patients with diseases of the digestive tract. It was found endoscopically that presence of Campylobacter pylori is always accompanied by changes of gastric mucosa, mainly in the antral region. There were no specific symptoms characteristic of Campylobacter pylori gastritis.

[Combined gastrinoma of the duodenum and glucagonoma of the pancreas].

A female patient, aged 53, with a combined duodenal gastrinoma and pancreatic glucagonoma is reported. Such a combination is an integral part of multiple endocrine neoplasias Type I. In both tumors psammous bodies were found.
