Submitted in the paper are data to the effect that parameters of certain biochemical indices for blood plasma and cell link of the immune system could allow some judgement about the character of the pathological process in children with Perthes disease. Autoimmune inflammation caused by foci of chronic infection in the organism aggravates the course of aseptic necrosis in the proximal portion of the thighbone or else is a trigger mechanism of its development.

[Cefzol level in the blood and tissues after its intramuscular and intravenous administration in patients with post-traumatic osteomyelitis].

The authors present the results of their studies of the concentrations of kephsol in the bones, in the soft tissues and in the plasma (48 samples) of the patients with posttraumatic osteomyelitis in intramuscular and intravenous administration of the drug. It is pointed out that the administration of kephsol in the ways mentioned above may lead to the achievement of an effective concentration of the drug in the pathology focus area only for some types of staphylocci.
