Although body image is one of the essential concepts that should be addressed in comprehensive care, the question of how body image affects women with schizophrenia remains unanswered. This study aimed to explore the body image experiences of women living with schizophrenia. This study employed a qualitative approach and participants were recruited from a community mental health center in Türkiye.

Domestic difficulties faced by women with a severe mental disorder: A qualitative study.

When the family is considered as a system, individuals with a severe mental disorder can be affected by all the processes and conditions in the family. Women with a severe mental disorder are also affected by many factors such as their place in the family and society, gender roles and gender inequality. In the study, the authors aimed to determine domestic difficulties faced by women diagnosed with a severe mental disorder who were followed in a Community Mental Health Center in a province in the west of Türkiye.

Objective: The study aimed to identify predictors of advanced fibrosis score and histological activity index (HAI) in HBeAg-positive patients to facilitate early disease detection and reduce the need for invasive biopsies.

Materials And Methods: The single-center retrospective study included treatment-naïve HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. Patients with HAI ≥6 and/or fibrosis ≥2 were considered to have significant liver damage.
