Hodgkin Lymphoma in Children and Adolescents of Northern Greece: 25-Year Results and Long-term Follow-up.

Aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term therapeutic outcome and treatment-related complications in Hodgkin disease. We reviewed the medical records of 93 patients diagnosed with classic Hodgkin lymphoma, treated, and followed-up during the last 25 years. The cohort study included 49 males and 44 females with median age 11.

Intravenous Globulin for Intractable Abdominal Pain due to IgA Vasculitis.

IgA vasculitis (formerly known as Henoch-Schönlein purpura or anaphylactoid purpura) is a usually benign vasculitis that affects children of school age. The disease is characterized by the tetrad of palpable purpura, arthralgia/arthritis, abdominal pain, and hematuria. Treatment of IgA vasculitis is mainly supportive, with administration of simple analgesics.

A Brief Report and Mini-Review of Visceral Leishmaniasis-associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in Children.

We present the case of a 7-year-old boy who fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Prompt visualization of his bone marrow confirmed the diagnosis of visceral leishmaniasis (VL). He responded well to treatment with liposomal amphotericin-B.
