[Traumatic rupture of the spleen].

In the work the authors present their own experience in the treatment of spleen traumatic rupture in the period of 10 years (1978-1987). In that period in 13 patients spleen were removed because of traumatic rupture. Spleen iatrogen lesions, spontaneous spleen ruptures and spleen-removing caused by other indications were not considered.
