Acute lung injury (ALI)/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an inflammatory response arising from lung and systemic injury with diverse causes and associated with high rates of morbidity and mortality. To date, no fully effective pharmacological therapies have been established and the relevant underlying mechanisms warrant elucidation, which may be facilitated by multi‑omics technology. The present review summarizes the application of multi‑omics technology in identifying novel diagnostic markers and therapeutic strategies of ALI/ARDS as well as its pathogenesis.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the usefulness of ultrasound-guided core-needle biopsy (US-CNB) for diagnosing type 1 AIP and evaluate the radiological outcomes following steroid therapy.

Materials And Methods: From January 2017 to June 2023, patients with pathology results containing "lymphoplasmacytic infiltration" and "fibrosis" were enrolled. The detection rate of level 1 histology by International Consensus Diagnostic Criteria (ICDC) and the contribution of US-CNB were assessed.

is an obligate anaerobic, Gram-positive bacterium that produces toxins. Despite technological progress, conducting gene expression analysis of under different conditions continues to be labor-intensive. Therefore, there is a demand for simplified tools to investigate the transcriptional and translational regulation of .

Coordinating the droplet capture, transport, and shedding processes during fog collection to achieve efficient fog collection is a major challenge. In this study, a copper mesh with different wettability was prepared by chemical etching and thiol modification. The Cu(OH) needle structure on the surface of the samples was characterized by FE-SEM and EDS tests, and the surface of the samples was chemically analyzed by infrared and XPS analyses.

In this work, a new dual-signal fluorescence strategy based on nano-gold molecular beacon (MB) and in-situ generated silver nano-clusters (NCs) coupled with multiple amplification technique was developed for sensitive detection of miRNA (let-7b). miRNA can recognize both hairpin probe (HP) and auxiliary DNA, inducing dual-cycle amplification-process to release plenty of DNA S2. As the report probe carboxyfluorescein (FAM) was modified on Au nanoparticles (AuNPs), the fluorescent signal was quenched due to the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET).
