Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are first line treatment for advanced lung cancer. Tobacco use is a shared risk factor for lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Although many patients with COPD and lung cancer receive ICIs, the impact of ICIs on COPD is unknown.

However, the heat generated in this process remains largely unexplored. Herein, the heats of intrusion/extrusion into/from ZIF-8 + water systems of various ZIF-8 crystallite sizes were measured at different temperatures.

There was no benefit when intravenous thrombolytic agent co-treatment was used. We sought to confirm the clinical benefit of nerinetide in the absence of previous intravenous thrombolytic drug treatment.

Methods: For the first time, diatomaceous earth or diatomite (Dt) was functionalized with quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) and a biogenic compound, citronellol, to develop a bioactive hybrid material (Dt*QC). The hybrids obtained were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).
Given the relationship between reduced pulmonary and respiratory muscle function in neck pain, incorporating breathing exercises into neck pain management may be beneficial. : The purpose of this study was to investigate the benefits of breathing exercises for treating neck pain. : We searched PubMed (MEDLINE), PEDro, CINAHL, Scopus, and EMBASE databases, up to the 28 of February 2024.
