Satisfaction and feasibility of videoconsultation (VC) in orthopaedic and trauma surgery in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic: Prospective study of 783 patients.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has required that specialists use videoconsultation (VC) to maintain continuity of care. As in-person consultations (IPCs) and surgical procedures were cancelled, VC became the tool of choice. No recent French study has assessed VC as the main consultation modality.

Arthroscopic resection of wrist ganglia: About 30 cases.

Introduction: The synovial wrist ganglion is a particularly common pathology of which the first "complication" is recidivism. The main objective of our study was to determine the rate of recurrence of this pathology in a series of arthroscopic patients. The secondary objective was to assess patient satisfaction well after the operation.

Distal interphalangeal joint arthrodesis with the intramedullary Lync implant: Prospective study of 22 cases.

Several techniques have been described for fusion of the distal interphalangeal joint. The intramedullary Lync implant (Novastep™) may be superior to other options as it is available in straight or bent configurations, does not need to be removed and does not require fingertip incisions. The objective of our prospective study was to determine the effectiveness of finger distal interphalangeal (DIP) arthrodesis with Lync implants.

[Scaphoid nonunions treated by Kuhlmann's vascularized bone graft: radiographic outcomes and complications].

During the last few years, several types of vascularized bone grafts have been described for the treatment of scaphoid nonunions reporting rates of union often higher than 90%. The goal of this study was to evaluate the results, complications and failures of Kuhlmann's vascularized bone graft. Thirty patients who had benefited from this graft between 2000 and 2005 were reexamined.
