Norovirus is the leading cause of acute gastroenteritis (AGE) globally. Few longitudinal studies have assessed norovirus-associated AGE incidence across age groups in community settings in Latin America. During April 2015-April 2019, active surveillance for AGE among community members of all ages was conducted through household visits two to three times per week in San Jeronimo, Cusco, Peru.

Emerging research underscores a significant interaction between KRAS and microRNAs (miRNAs) in these cancers, with miRNAs playing key roles as both regulators and mediators within the KRAS signaling framework. The concept of oncogene-induced senescence (OIS) is explored as a protective mechanism against tumor development, examining how K-RAS signaling is meticulously adjusted to bypass senescence, thereby enhancing cell growth and survival.

Our findings substantiate that inflows and outflows of FDI have different implications for waste recycling, where an increase of 1% OFDI implies an increase of recycling ratio by 0.03%, a relationship that is potentially contingent upon the inherent characteristics of the flow itself in relation to its contributions to local productivity dynamics.
